November 9th -10th 2026 | The Landmark Nicosia

Geopolitics - Growth - Investment

The Economist Enterprise’s 22 Annual Cyprus Summit, entitled “A strategic gateway for regional co-operation”, comes at a time of profound global changes. Rapid geopolitical, technological, and societal shifts, coupled with major challenges to global peace, democracy, and the environment, among others, are creating a landscape dominated by unpredictability. At the same time, AI promises revolutionary solutions to many of humanity’s problems, raising in parallel concerns about control issues and new inequalities. Against this backdrop, Europe’s efforts to strengthen its strategic autonomy, competitiveness and cohesion place the eastern Mediterranean at the centre of this agenda. As an open economy and society with a commitment to peace, multilateral co-operation, investment and stronger economic ties across the region, Cyprus is well-placed to play a critical role in strengthening the relationship between Europe and the eastern Mediterranean.

The summit will bring together prominent personalities from politics, the economy, business, academia, and prestigious international institutions to explore geopolitics, growth and investment, finance, AI, education and skills, connectivity, and energy, among other issues, and to put forward solutions to the challenges under discussion.
