In the midst of the pandemic era, where issues of equality and sustainability are being prioritised in the global agenda, the forthcoming Economist Impact Eventaims to highlight significant aspects religious tourism not only in Greece but also on an international level, focusing –among others– on ways that inclusive growth can be achieved.

Global trends in religious and pilgrimage tourism, its contribution to the achievement of UN SDGs as well as the need to protect the identity of religious tourism monuments in times of global crisis will be extensively discussed, also focusing on the incentives that can reinforce the religious tourism sector. The role of tour operators and hospitality as well as the contribution of technology will be highlighted during this unique gathering.
