2023 is a year of critical electoral processes through which the country’s political forces will try to regain citizens’ confidence, also facing the challenge of healing weaknesses and failures from the past with the prospect of a better future.
Within this context, the forthcoming Annual Thessaloniki Metropolitan Summit will engage with the newly elected Greek Government and other high ranking officials along with business leaders from Greece and abroad on the pivotal role that Northern Greece is playing. The region can pave way for collaborations and partnerships that will contribute to the stability and prosperity for south-east Europe. Northern Greece –and Thessaloniki in particular– is a pole of attraction for energy, investments in the productive sector and research and technology hubs, which can tap into the potential of the well-educated Greek youth.
